Pima Medical Institute’s BSN (RN to BSN) program provides registered nurses with an opportunity to increase their capacity to engage in patient care leadership through an expanded foundation of general education studies and advanced nursing courses not typically attained at the associate degree level. Admission to the program requires that an applicant have completed a total of 72 semester credits of specific coursework at the postsecondary level. The content of these 72 transfer credits shall consist of 21 general education credits and 51 nursing credits. Additional transfer credit may be accepted as determined on an individual basis. Students who have not yet completed 72 credits may be able to enroll in additional online courses at Pima Medical Institute to qualify for the program.

The BSN (RN to BSN) program consists of 60 weeks of content, or 70 weeks including semester breaks. Individual completion time may vary by student depending on individual progress and credits transferred.
