Las Vegas, NV – Pima Medical Institute Hires New Clinical Director for Radiography at Las Vegas Campus


Pima Medical Institute, 3333 E. Flamingo Road in Las Vegas has named Marsha Sortor, MHE, RT the new Clinical Director for Radiography for their Las Vegas campus. Sortor, who has more than 30 years of radiography experience, has a varied background including serving as an instructor or radiologic sciences at Yakima Valley Community College; an imaging director at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center, lead Nuclear Medical technologist and clinical instructor at Yakima Regional Medical and Heart Center, as well as the Director of a Bachelor of Science program in Radiologic Sciences at Midwestern State University.
“Radiography is a rapidly growing field with excellent job opportunities,” said Babbette Burcaw, campus director for the Las Vegas vocational school. “We are very fortunate to have someone as experienced as Marsha to serve as our Clinical Director for Radiography.”
In addition to Radiography the Las Vegas campus has programs for: Dental Assistant; Medical Assistant; Medical Secretary, Veterinary Assistant and Phlebotomy Technician.
