PIMA MEDICAL INSTITUTE
HIRES FACULTY COORDINATOR
Mesa, AZ – Anna Marie Heywood To Assist PMI With Faculty Recruiting
and Training
Anna Marie Heywood is not in the Army, but like her
military counterpart, she is trying to recruit a few
good men and women. Heywood has recently been promoted
to Faculty Coordinator for Pima Medical Institute,
957 S. Dobson Road in Mesa, where she will assist the
vocational school with the recruiting and training
of new faculty.
Heywood, who previously served as a Respiratory Therapy instructor at
PMI, will manage faculty performance and provide coaching and in-service
training for new and veteran faculty. She has a BA in Human Services,
is a state licensed respiratory care professional, worked as an emergency
medical technician and has taught CPR and First Aid.
“Anna Marie’s diverse human resource education, healthcare experience
and her bright and optimistic attitude are a perfect combination for the position
of Faculty Coordinator,” said Fredonna Newton, campus director for the
Mesa vocational school. “She has been an asset to our campus and we expect
even bigger things from her in her new role.”
PMI is one of the premier medical vocational institutes in the western
United States. The privately owned, nationally-accredited school provides
students with a well-rounded education embracing theoretical classroom
studies, as well as on-site training at medical facilities that mirror
the working environment they will pursue after graduation.
Founded in Arizona, PMI has been serving students since 1972, with campuses
in: Albuquerque, New Mexico; Chula Vista, CA; Denver and Colorado Springs,
CO; Seattle, WA; Las Vegas, NV, as well as their campuses in Tucson and
Mesa. Additional information is available at http://pmi.edu.
