What does an Occupational Therapy Assistant do?
- Helps patients of all ages and with all different types of disabilities and challenges to participate in everyday life activities
- Records patients’ progress and manages treatment plans under the supervision of an occupational therapist
- Leads children who have developmental disabilities in play activities that promote coordination and socialization
