What does a Practical Nurse do?

  • Monitors patients’ health, measuring blood pressure and other vitals
  • Provides for the basic comfort of patients, such as helping them with daily activities
  • Charts patient care services, including patients’ health concerns, and communicates information to physicians and other medical team members
