What does a Surgical Technologist do?
- Ensures the operating room is sterilized, safe, equipment is functioning properly and the operative procedure is conducted under conditions that maximize patient safety
- Prepares surgical robotics and endoscopic equipment for use during surgery
- Assists surgeons during surgery, sterilizes equipment and assembles surgical supplies
