Invest in your future: Attend our January Open House at Pima Medical Institute
Posted: December 29, 2016 by Elizabeth Baker
Going back to school can feel overwhelming. There are many reasons why it may seem like the wrong time—financial, family or work obligations, or simply the fear of re-entering the classroom.
That’s why Pima Medical Institute is hosting an Open House in January. The three-day event gives new students a chance to check out the campus in a fun, casual setting. It also provides them with the opportunity to meet with instructors, students and staff, where they can ask questions and see first-hand what it’s like to be a Pima Medical student.
The Open House will run Jan. 17, 18 and 19 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day. Visitors are encouraged to
make an appointment ahead of time. Pima Medical campuses in Arizona, California, Washington state, Nevada, New Mexico, Texas and Colorado are eager to show visitors what their campus is all about.
“We want to encourage people to find out how they can obtain a fulfilling healthcare career,” said Pima Medical President and CEO, Fred Freedman. “Open house provides a fun, relaxed atmosphere that allows visitors to get a first-hand look at the learning environments we offer and how they prepare students for their new career. We welcome everyone who stops by and provide them with information they can take home and review, as well as answer all their questions when they’re here.”
For those who haven’t been in a classroom in a while, talking to current students who share similar life experiences can be inspiring and informative. Instructors provide ample coursework information to visitors, while Pima Medical’s financial aid officers and career services advisers answer the detailed questions a new student may have about how to make school work for them.
Campuses participating in the open house include: Albuquerque and Albuquerque West in New Mexico, Colorado Springs, Aurora and Denver, Colorado, El Paso and Houston, Texas, Tucson, Mesa, East Valley and Phoenix, Arizona, Las Vegas, Nevada, and Renton and Seattle, Washington.
Pima Medical Institute offers certificate, associate and bachelor degree programs—all in the healthcare field. It also has an online learning division. Programs focus on medical, dental and veterinary careers. For more information about Pima Medical and its programs, visit
