What does a Dental Hygienist do?

  • Scales and polishes teeth and takes X-rays and molds
  • Works directly with patients helping them properly care for their oral health
  • Performs assessments and documents patient’s medical and dental histories
  • Applies sealants and fluoride
  • Treats gum disease
