Graduates of health care administration programs work closely with medical teams to support the managerial and administrative aspects of a medical office  – from medical records, to HR, to marketing and more. They ensure an optimal patient experience and efficient work environment on the non-clinical side of health care.

The day-to-day responsibilities may vary greatly depending on specific role and work environment. Tasks can range from general administration in the front office to specialized support for a department.

Health care administration graduates can provide support in management, accounting/finance, human resources and more.

With further education and experience, advancement into managerial or leadership roles is possible.
