What does a nurse do?
Nursing is an ever-evolving career. From pediatrics, to labor and delivery, geriatrics, surgery, trauma, emergency department and more, the career provides vast opportunities. Among other things, nurses:
- Observe, assess and record symptoms, reactions and progress of patients.
- Work alongside doctors to provide treatment plans and exams
- Administer medications and monitor patient recovery
While day-to-day responsibilities are never the same, nurses provide vital care in various patient care areas.

Graduates of this program are qualified to sit for the National Council Licensing Examination for Registered Nurses. Graduates may also be eligible to enroll in our 100% online Bachelor of Science in Nursing (RN to BSN) program.
