What does a Paramedic do?
- Serves as part of a team of first responders in an emergency, helping to administer timely, competent and critical care
- Provides first-aid treatment or life support care to sick or injured patients
- Transports patients safely in an ambulance or helicopter

What will I learn?
To become a paramedic you will experience emergency medical technician training education and take courses like Cardiology, Medical Emergencies and Advanced Life Support and Trauma. The classes prepare you to work in ambulance services, air ambulances, hospitals, industrial facilities and more.
