What does a Radiologic Technologist do?
- Accurately positions patients, ensuring that a quality diagnostic image is produced
- Administers examination and equipment protocols, radiation safety, radiation protection and basic patient care
- Performs imaging techniques such as bone densitometry, cardiovascular-interventional radiography, computed tomography, mammography, magnetic resonance imaging and more

Some of the courses during your education include Positioning, Radiographic Biology and Pathology. The classes will prepare you to work as a Radiologic Technologist, X-Ray Technologist or at other specialty clinics and diagnostic imaging centers, outpatient care facilities, physicians’ offices and more.
