In this program, you will learn a broad range of areas that nurses are expected to work in such as, labor and delivery, pediatrics, surgery, trauma and more. Your career as a nurse will be unique each day to meet the needs of your patients. You will acquire the skills needed to work as an entry-level nurse and will be prepared to sit for the National Council Licensing Examination for Registered Nurses.
This program is available at the Mesa and Tucson campus locations.
Designed for current registered nurses who wish to obtain an advanced degree so they can increase their clinical responsibilities, fill leadership roles and expand into more specialized nursing settings.
This program is a fully Online program.
This certificate program takes approximately six weeks to complete and teaches graduates how to work as an entry-level nursing assistant or nurse aide. Clinical topics include basic nursing skills. Communication and interpersonal skills are also taught.
This program is available at the Denver and East Valley/Gilbert campus locations.
In this program, students will learn the various duties and responsibilities of a licensed practical nurse (LPN). This role works under the direction of registered nurses, nurse practitioners and doctors. Courses address measuring vital signs, starting IVs, assisting older patients with activities, collecting laboratory specimens and more.
This program is available at the Albuquerque and Aurora campus locations.
This certificate program takes approximately nine months to complete and teaches graduates the personal and professional skills required for an entry-level medical assistant position. As a medical assistant, graduates will work with doctors, nurses and other medical staff in both clinical and clerical positions.
