FAQs
Is the Program Flexible?
Our classes are structured to help you balance your busy schedule as an RN, all while remaining on track for graduation. Coursework follows an asynchronous learning structure, meaning you can log in at times that are most convenient to you, while still completing assignments within a logical time frame.
Are there Clinicals?
There is a clinical component to this program that allows students to apply coursework to their current nursing careers. During clinicals, students engage in experiential learning activities via course assignments and activities that apply ideas, theories, and concepts learned in the classroom into real-world nursing practice.
As a student, you will work with a professional mentor who will guide you as you apply the new knowledge you are obtaining into your current employment role. This mentor will, at minimum, have their BSN credential and their support better prepares you to assume roles requiring increased leadership capability and clinical responsibility in your delivery of care.
Is the Program Accredited?
The RN to BSN program is accredited through the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) and the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES). ABHES is nationally accredited by the U.S. Secretary of Education as a private, nonprofit, independent accrediting agency.
How Do I Transfer Credits?
During the admissions process, your representative will help walk you through the process of transferring previous education credits from other institutions or from Pima Medical, and will help you review licensure requirements where applicable.
