Pima Medical Institute to Host Open House Aug. 2-4 to Welcome Future Students

Those interested in entering the healthcare career field won’t want to miss Pima Medical Institute’s open house, running Aug., 2, 3 and 4, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day.
Open house is a great way to learn all about Pima Medical in one visit. The school welcomes everyone—from recent high school graduates to those looking to enter a new career—to visit and learn about the life-changing opportunities Pima Medical has to offer.
Visitors will be provided with campus tours, including lab demonstrations, where they’ll learn about the school’s hands-on medical education programs, meet instructors and current students and talk to career services advisers and financial aid officers.

, where they can choose their preferred day for a tour. Pima Medical campus locations include Albuquerque, N.M., Aurora, Denver and Colorado Springs, Colo., Chula Vista, Calif., Mesa, Tucson and Phoenix, Ariz., El Paso and Houston, Texas, Las Vegas, N.V., and Renton and Seattle, Wash.
Each campus has its own unique programmatic offerings, which are chosen based on the areas’ in-demand healthcare jobs. Students receive extensive hands-on training in labs that reflect real-world working environments, which enables them to immediately hit the ground running once they enter their chosen career field.
Pima Medical’s campuses have certificate and associate degree programs that focus on allied healthcare careers and nursing. The school also offers an extensive online learning division that allows students to earn bachelor of science degrees in a variety of healthcare professions.
Students can earn certificates in as little as nine months and begin working right away. Certificate programs include Central Sterile Processing, Dental Assistant, Emergency Medical Technician, Medical Administrative Assistant, Medical Assistant, Nursing Assistant, Patient Care Technician, Pharmacy Technician, Phlebotomy Technician and Veterinary Assistant.
Associate degrees are offered in Dental Hygiene, Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Nursing, Occupational Therapy Assistant, Ophthalmic Medical Technician, Paramedic, Physical Therapist Assistant, Radiography, Respiratory Therapy, Surgical Technology, and Veterinary Technician.
Online bachelor of science degrees include Health Care Administration, Nursing (RN to BSN), Physical Therapist Assistant, Radiologic Sciences and Respiratory Therapy.
