For the Luebke brothers, Pima Medical Institute’s mission is personal. Their recent appearance on 12News connected the school’s beginnings with the purpose that continues to guide them today: helping students build meaningful careers caring for others.
Founded in Tucson in 1972 by Dick Luebke Sr. and his wife, JoAnn, Pima Medical Institute began with a commitment to putting people first. More than five decades later, that commitment remains at the heart of our approach to healthcare education.
The conversation highlighted the importance of preparing skilled healthcare professionals and providing career-focused educational pathways. Through hands-on training and dedicated support, Pima Medical helps students develop the skills and confidence to take their next steps into the workforce.
The brothers also reflected on carrying their father’s legacy forward, the importance of being an ESOP company, and solidifying a legacy that lives on through students, graduates, employee owners, and the communities they serve.
