Pima Medical Institute is proud to announce the launch of its new Computed Tomography (CT) certificate program, providing ARRT registered radiologic technologists the opportunity to prepare for work within the advanced modality of CT imaging.
The CT certificate program at Pima Medical is 16 weeks in length and is 100% online. The online courses are designed to build upon existing skills and add to the structured educational requirements needed to safely and effectively perform diagnostic CT scans. The curriculum prepares the radiologic technologist for advancement through instruction in procedures, cross-sectional anatomy, radiation safety as well as physics and instrumentation.
Medical imaging technology continues to advance, and according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the need for CT technologists is on the rise. CT scans play a crucial role in diagnosing and monitoring various medical conditions, including cancer, cardiovascular diseases and musculoskeletal disorders.
Pima Medical’s CT certificate program is open to ARRT registered radiologic technologists and provides a comprehensive curriculum with the flexibility to complete coursework when convenient, while also relying on a logical course structure with clear due dates for assignments.
