Pima Medical Institute has collaborated with AllOne Health to launch the Student Assistance Program (SAP). This program offers 24/7/365 assistance and aims to provide students with access to mental health counseling support, interactive tools, videos, assessments, training sessions and more. The program officially launched August 1, and is just one way Pima Medical and its partners support students as they navigate life, outside the walls of their campus.
“The wide array of services offered through this program are a literal lifeline in times of crisis and we are proud to be working with AllOne Health to provide this critical assistance to our students,” said Fred Freedman, President and CEO, Pima Medical Institute. “Navigating the challenges of daily life, while attending a strenuous educational program can feel overwhelming. We have an obligation to our students to have as many tools as possible to help them thrive in all aspects of their life.”
Confidential and voluntary, the SAP features mental health counseling, life coaching, legal and financial resources, a personal assistant to assist with everyday life tasks, work/life resources and medical advocacy.
“Mental Health has never been more important than it is today,” said Will Brown, LICSW, M.Ed., CEAP Clinical & Senior Account Manager, AllOne. “As an industry leader for high touch/high tech service, we deliver Student Assistance care by listening and empowering clients to become their best selves.”
Whether students access the portal through the mobile app or website, they will have all the tools necessary for a healthy work/school/life balance readily available.
