Pima Medical Institute has announced the expansion of enrollment opportunities for our Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Sciences (BSRS) degree. The program is now accessible to a wider range of medical imaging and nuclear medicine professionals beginning with its most recent cohort start on September 3, 2025.
Previously, applicants were required to hold an American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification. Recognizing the diverse expertise within the medical imaging field, Pima Medical has updated its requirements. Now, applicants can hold one of the following certifications:
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
- Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)
This change means that Pima Medical Institute’s own Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMS) graduates, who have received their ARDMS certification, are now eligible to enroll in the BSRS program.
This expansion opens the door for a broader group of dedicated healthcare professionals to advance their education and careers. The BSRS program is designed to build on existing knowledge and provide students with the advanced skills and leadership qualities needed to excel in today’s dynamic healthcare environment. Don’t miss this opportunity to take the next step in your professional journey.
