Program Objective
This master’s program is designed for those interested in pursuing an advanced degree who wish to enter a leadership role in their current career. While there is focus on healthcare, this degree is broad enough to apply to multiple fields and industries. Students may select between a Health Care Administration or Public Health Administration track and will be equipped with both the professional and analytical tools to lead organizations through today’s ever-evolving landscape. Instructors of this program use their years of experience and real-world application so students can apply what they learn in school on the job right away. As an online program, students can balance school, work and life while advancing their career.
Students in the M.S. in Organizational Leadership will take courses that focus on management, communication, organizational behavior, managing change, leading diverse teams and more.
The Health Care Administration Specialization Track focuses on emerging issues in health administration and management of patient-centered networks.
The Public Health Specialization Track focuses on social, behavioral and cultural factors in public health and epidemiology.
While this program is 100% online, students still complete a professional capstone project that features real-world application of their coursework to their current career in leadership.
- Applicants to this degree program must have graduated with a minimum of a baccalaureate degree from an accredited program recognized by the US Secretary of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) earning a 2.75 GPA or greater.
