In celebration of National Children’s Dental Health Month, Pima Medical Institute hosted “Give Kids a Smile” on Saturday, February 15 at the Houston Campus.
Representatives from Pima Medical Institute, the American Dental Association (ADA) and Greater Houston Dental Society (GHDS) offered free dental services, including exams, x-rays, cleanings, fluoride and sealants for kids ages 5-18.
The event and Katheryn Prather, Dental Hygiene Clinical Instructor, were featured on FOX 26 Houston.
“At Pima Medical Institute, we are known for our hands-on education and commitment to the community,” said Dr. Kimberly Peacher, Dental Hygiene Program Director, Pima Medical Institute. “Events like this not only give our students experience, it provides a needed service to the community we all call home. I couldn’t be prouder.”
