State Registrations and Recognitions:
- Pima Medical Institute is an authorized NC-SARA institution allowing for the delivery of distance education, both online and in the form of supervised field experiences, to students in SARA member states. 49 States are currently members of NC-SARA. Through the Home State of Arizona, PMI is under the jurisdiction of Arizona SARA in relation to non-instructional complaints. Complaints must be submitted within two years of the incident. Instructional complaints, such as grade grievances, are not reviewed by the Council and should not be submitted for review. Prior to registering a non-instructional complaint with the Arizona SARA Council, the student/complainant must complete both the Pima Medical Institute Grievance Procedure and the Arizona State Board for Private Postsecondary Education’s complaint process. Students may submit a non-instructional complaint via the AZ SARA Website. Any PMI student enrolled in fully online programs residing in a SARA state may also contact that state’s SARA Portal Entity.
- Pima Medical Institute is Registered with the California Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education (BPPE) as an Out-of-State Private Postsecondary Educational Institute as required by Section 94801.5, California Education Code.
