Meet Physical Therapist Assistant Tucson Student Anna Harrold
Posted: October 8, 2014 by Elizabeth Baker
October is National Physical Therapy Month, and we want to recognize those who have chosen the PT field to thank them for their life-changing work.
PTs and physical therapist ssistants help patients transform their lives through motion, emotional support and encouragement.
At Pima Medical Institute we teach students to become physical therapist assistants at our Albuquerque, Denver, Houston, Las Vegas, Mesa, Seattle and Tucson campuses. We also offer a PTA bachelor of science degree online.
Throughout the month, we are highlighting the stories and photos of Pima Medical Institute PTA students and alumni.
Meet Anna Harrold
“I spent a lot of time volunteering in hospitals and the medical field growing up, so I always knew I wanted to be a part of helping people get better. I was able to spend time in a nursing home with two amazing physical therapists and I fell in love with the field. I love to connect with people on a personal level and to see them improve physically. Becoming a PTA will give me an avenue in which to accomplish that goal.”
“My time at PMI has reinforced my love for physical therapy, and it continues to grow. My education has helped me get closer to achieving my dreams and I could not ask for better support and encouragement from my teachers.”
