Pima Medical Institute Salutes Veterinary Technicians
Posted: February 20, 2019 by Diane Smith
We at Pima Medical Institute would like to give a shout out to our veterinary technician and veterinary assistant program directors, instructors and students. We’d also like to say a big thank you to the animals who offer their services and contribute to the hands-on learning that makes Pima Medical so special.
Veterinary Technicians are compassionate, caring, dedicated professionals, and are often the first people we see when our furry family is in a time of crisis. At Pima Medical Institute, our faculty prepare our students to be ready to step into that role the moment they graduate.
In addition to the human instructors, we would also like to highlight some of our four-legged teachers, who are more than willing to help out our students (of course they’re paid with snacks and snuggles for their service). Here are some of our campus animals who play a crucial role in the education of our students.
See for yourself what makes them so special (they’ve provided bios to help you get to know them).
