As we round out this Veterinary Technician Week, we want to give a shout out to our veterinary technician and veterinary assistant program directors, instructors and students. We’d also like to say a big thank you to the animals (past and present) who contribute to the hands-on learning that makes Pima Medical so special.
Veterinary Technicians are compassionate, caring, dedicated professionals, and are often the first people we see when our furry family is in a time of crisis. At Pima Medical Institute, our faculty prepare our students to be ready to step into that role the moment they graduate.
In addition to the human instructors, we would also like to highlight some of our four-legged teachers, who are more than willing to help out our students (of course they’re paid with snacks and snuggles for their service). Here are some of the campus animals (past and present) who have helped to play a crucial role in the education of our students.
See for yourself why they’re so special (they’ve provided bios to help you get to know them)
Pima Medical Institute offers a Veterinary Technician associate degree program at its campuses in Aurora and Colorado Springs, Colorado; Chula Vista, California; East Valley, Phoenix and Tucson, Arizona, El Paso and Houston, Texas; Las Vegas, Nevada; Renton and Seattle, Washington.
