As we enter a holiday season that is unprecedented, we wanted to take a few minutes to let everyone know how thankful we are for our students, faculty, staff and alumni. Here at Pima Medical, we are so thankful, in fact, that we thought we would spell it out for you.
T is for tenacity. During this pandemic, our entire team has shown an unrelenting tenacity. From staff and faculty working hard to move nearly 10,000 students to a hybrid learning system at a moment’s notice, to our students who have adapted and thrived throughout uncertainty.
H is for our Healthcare Heroes in Training. Students and their instructors have stepped up in amazing ways, not letting anything sidetrack them from accomplishing the goals at hand. Look at any of our campuses and you will see a dedication and determination that is inspiring.
A is for our amazing Alumni: We are thankful for the continued commitment to the professions you have chosen. With more than 135,000 graduates to date and many battling on the frontlines of this pandemic, we take a moment to appreciate your sacrifice and service.
N is for never giving up. Although 2020 has thrown some serious curveballs at everyone, at Pima Medical, our students, faculty and staff have risen to the occasion. Through virtual graduations and pinning ceremonies, it is obvious that nothing will stand in your way.
K is for the knowledge you bring. No matter what role in Pima Medical you play, your knowledge is an important part of our success. Thank you for teaching, sharing and providing important information.
F is for fighting through. While the world continues to change and we continue to adjust to what life brings us, the fighting spirit of Pima Medical continues to shine through.
U for the unselfish nature of each and everyone here. No matter the circumstance, the unselfish nature of those seeking healthcare career continues to flourish. Whether teaching future professionals, learning to prepare for your career, or practicing your trade in the world right now, being unselfish is in the fiber of who you are, and for that, we are grateful.
L is for the lives you affect. Whether you are a member of our faculty, staff, student body or member of our alumni, every day you are changing lives.
Even though this holiday season might look different to many of us, one thing that stays the same is the continued pride that is shared by all of us at Pima Medical Institute. Founded by the Luebke family back in 1972 with a single campus in Tucson, Arizona, we have grown to a college with 18 campuses across the Western United States and an impressive online learning division. Despite the growth, the family sprit is alive and well, and a driving force in our continued success.
